The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ious dodges the punch combination from Silva.

Ious feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ious controls the pace.
Ious seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Loow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Briar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Loow.
Loow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Briar.
Briar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Briar dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Briar rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Loow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan has chosen Real American as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ferrigno throws a nice looking combination but Hogan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ferrigno will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ferrigno has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hogan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ferrigno is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Hogan counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Ferrigno badly! Hogan follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Ferrigno out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Hogan finished him against the cage.

In his post fight interview, Hulk Hogan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
