The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Money instigates a clinch.
Giraldo takes a shot to the head.

Money wants to break free but Giraldo has control.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Giraldo.
Giraldo tries to throw a body punch but Money avoids it by throwing Giraldo back against the cage.
Money jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Giraldo walks away with a smile on his face. Money gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Money. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Money on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Money shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Giraldo as he jumps to the side.
A punch lands to the side of Money 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Abs fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kuivanen, pushing him back against the cage.
Abs pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Bang tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nice body kick there by Van Der Sluijs.
Van Der Sluijs slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bang has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Van Der Sluijs thuds his right hand into Bang's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Time Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Der Sluijs feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bang's calf.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kjolby looks to land a combination but Starner avoids it well.
Ryan Starner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Starner feints a jab promting Kjolby to slip. Starner then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kjolby slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kjolby throws a series of punches but Starner avoids them all with ease.
