We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rich wants to control but Holmes is keeping him busy.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rick Rich hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rich closes the distance and clinches up with Holmes, looking for a takedown. Rich pushes Holmes against the cage but Holmes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Calvin Thompson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight.
