The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Pedersen misses with a hook
and Mayhem cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pedersen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mayhem circles away quickly and effectively.
Pedersen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mayhem manages to avoid it.
Pedersen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pedersen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mayhem takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Pedersen instigates a clinch.
Mayhem is trying to push Pedersen away but Pedersen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Pedersen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Mayhem counters with a crisp right hand that drops Pedersen! Mayhem lets Pedersen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Jens Pedersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pedersen tries to get into range but Mayhem steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Pedersen! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Mayhem scores the big KO victory!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victory Agu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Feel The Pain - Dinosaur Jr. Alexander Anderson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him.
