And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrej Kavelin!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kavelin lands with a cross.
Kavelin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kavelin blocks a head kick by Uematsu.
Kavelin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Uematsu manages to avoid it.
Kavelin swings widly with a right hand
and Uematsu counters with a stiff right hand.
Kavelin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Hironobu Uematsu has been cut.
Uematsu throws a looping overhand right but Kavelin ducks down to avoid it.
Kavelin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kavelin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Uematsu misses with an uppercut
and Kavelin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Uematsu throws a combination. Kavelin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Kavelin is rocked!
Uematsu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kavelin circles away quickly and effectively.
Kavelin is still on wobbly legs! Can Uematsu finish him?
Kavelin bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Uematsu comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kavelin falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kavelin was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hironobu Uematsu!
Hironobu Uematsu seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
