Machado closes the distance and clinches.
Machado keeps control of Ellis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ellis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Machado walks away with a smile on his face. Ellis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Machado throws a jab but it's blocked by Ellis.

We've been informed that Machado has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Manny Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machado looks to score with a jab to the body but Ellis is just out of range.
Machado cracks Ellis on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ellis falls backwards against the cage. Machado follows up with more strikes that drop Ellis to his knees. Machado keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ellis! This one is all over!
