The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jangle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Naboki - the referee stops the clock and Jangle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Naboki. Jangle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Naboki scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jangle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Naboki drops Jangle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jangle looks back up at him and smiles so Naboki waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Naboki throws a right hand that Jangle ducks under and follows up with a left that Jangle also avoids with ease.
Jangle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Naboki but Naboki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jangle throws a body punch but Naboki moves out of range.
Naboki drops Jangle with a straight right hand, right on the button! Naboki follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johny Naboki!
Johny Naboki seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

Fon Gadov dives in for a single leg takedown but Schlosser sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kipei shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brkic manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Sliper shoots in and drives through. Li sprawls well.
Sliper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Li's waist but Li gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sliper off to one side.
Li lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sliper circles away quickly and effectively.
Sliper has a takedown stuffed.
Hong Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slipo Sliper.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Li tries to clinch there but Sliper circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Li enables Sliper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Li manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sliper felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Plimpton avoids the head kick by Lukashenko.
Lukashenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looks like Randal Plimpton has been cut.
Alexander Lukashenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Plimpton rushes Lukashenko and presses him up against the cage.
Lukashenko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lukashenko wants to break free but Plimpton has control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lukashenko makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Plimpton throws an elbow that misses.
Lukashenko is trying to force a seperation but Plimpton has the dominant position.
Plimpton has Lukashenko pressed against the cage, preventing Lukashenko from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Plimpton creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Lukashenko manages to break the clinch.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Lukashenko - that will leave a mark!
Plimpton moves in looking to clinch but Lukashenko pushes him off.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Plimpton has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Lukashenko counters with a crisp one two that drops Plimpton! Lukashenko thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Plimpton to his feet! Plimpton is in big trouble!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lukashenko finds Plimpton's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Plimpton flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Lukashenko lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Plimpton will be OK.

and Langston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Langston lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
