The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emong connects with the punch.
Thai swinging wildly here.

Emong gets tackled into the cage by Thai. Thai maintains the clinch.
Thai blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Emong lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Thai backwards.

Thai jumps guard and drags Emong to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Thai really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Emong has gone for a leg lock! Thai slips out almost immediately though and dives into Emong's guard.
Thai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornwell has a takedown stuffed.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pettis is defended easily by Cornwell.

and Cornwell counters with a left and a right that stings Pettis.

enabling Pettis to counter with a crisp jab.
Cornwell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cornwell wants it to stay on the feet.

Cornwell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pettis tries to avoid it but Cornwell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pettis to the ground. Pettis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
