Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Chavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Brit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chavo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rico Sauve by Girardo. Brit has chosen Same in the End as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brit throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Brit lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chavo's sensitive parts.
Chavo is looking to clinch but Brit is avoiding it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brit has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Chavo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kafka stuffs the takedown attempt from Earlandson. Earlandson gets slowly back to his feet.
Earlandson shoots in but no luck this time.
Kafka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kafka avoids the head kick by Earlandson.
Kafka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Viktor Kafka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kermit Earlandson.
Some bone on bone action there as Earlandson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Cartman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
