Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Gunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaname Tosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kaname Tosen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tosen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gunner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tosen connects with a nice looking jab.

Tosen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gunner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tosen on the side of the head.
Gunner tries to bum rush Tosen with a series of wild strikes but Tosen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tosen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Tosen is trying to control. Gunner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gunner is looking for a sweep. Tosen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tosen connects with a nice short shot to Gunner's temple.
Gunner has hold of Tosen's hands but Tosen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tosen is keen to just control but Gunner is a slippery customer.
Tosen uses his free foot to push down on Gunner's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gunner.

Celsius kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Prodigy - No Good. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!
