Bones shoots for a double leg takedown but Ballantine sprawls well. He's pushed Bones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stupka on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Insano throws a body punch but Stupka moves out of range.
Stupka throws a lazy right hand but Insano sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Stupka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Insano tries to work over Stupka's front leg with a kick but Stupka checks it.
Stupka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Insano counters with a three punch combo that has Stupka backing up. Stupka nods at Insano to acknowledge the strikes.

Insano drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Stupka right on the button. Stupka goes down! Insano follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Insano gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Felipezoom Insano!
Felipezoom Insano was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
