Star feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lin sprawling to the canvas! Lin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Star finish him?!

Star throws a monster overhand right that drops Lin! Star follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Pekka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pekka tries for a takedown but Ascanio sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pekka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pekka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Pekka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ascanio tries to avoid it but Pekka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ascanio to the ground. Ascanio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Pekka or perhaps it was just good defense by Ascanio which made him look bad.

Ascanio lands a big uppercut and Pekka crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pekka looks OK. Ascanio waves Pekka back to his feet!

Pekka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ascanio is fending him off so far but Pekka persists. Nope, Ascanio circles away and we're back to standing.
Pekka takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Pekka darts in looking for a takedown but Ascanio gets double underhooks and turns Pekka into the cage.

Ascanio lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pekka backwards.

Ascanio lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pekka backwards.
Ascanio presses Pekka against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Ascanio creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Pekka with a big uppercut! Pekka tries to clinch up but Ascanio pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Pekka to the mat! Pekka covers up and Ascanio unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dante Ascanio!
A relieved looking Dante Ascanio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
