The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shono misses with a takedown attempt - Russell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well Russell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Chandler drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Chandler seems to have locked his on tight now - Villasenor screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Chandler, as he picks up the win!

Ardona tests Navdkod's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Khabib Navdkod has been cut.
Ardona looks to land a left hand but Navdkod moved out of range nicely.
Navdkod takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ardona misses with a jab, cross combination.
Navdkod lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ardona circles away quickly and effectively.

Ardona drops Navdkod with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Navdkod looks back up at him and smiles so Ardona waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ardona engages and cracks Navdkod with a massive lead left hook - Navdkod tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ardona is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
