Horrible takedown by Bulldog or perhaps it was just good defense by Wilson which made him look bad.
Bulldog feints with a jab and clips Wilson right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Wilson is sent crashing into the canvas and Bulldog leaps in for the kill! Wilson tries to get to his feet but Bulldog is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Wilson is in need of a savior and steps in!

Gene falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Highwind to counter with a crisp jab.
Gene throws a hook but Highwind avoids it easily.
Highwind displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gene throws out the jab.
Gene throws a right and a left that both miss.

letting Highwind counter with a right hand.
Gene swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Highwind counters with a left and a right that stings Gene.

It looks like Cid Highwind has been cut.
Highwind jabs Gene right on the nose. Gene blinks but takes it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gene swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Highwind on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gene. Gene obviously looking to wear him down.
Gene moves away from the strike by Highwind.

Gene fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Highwind to the ground. Gene is now in Highwind's guard.

Highwind wants to stand and escape but Gene is having none of it.

Gene has gone for a leg lock! Highwind slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gene's guard.

Gene lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Highwind!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Messinger's choice of entrance music: Huckleberry by Ichabod. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ketchum tries to break the clinch but Messinger is controlling the position.

Messinger tries to bum rush Ketchum with a series of wild strikes but Ketchum uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Messinger closes the distance and clinches up with Ketchum, looking for a takedown. Messinger pushes Ketchum against the cage but Ketchum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Will Messinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Messinger is looking to clinch.
Messinger slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Messinger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ketchum is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Messinger has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ketchum is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Messinger yanks on the arm and Ketchum is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Messinger.

Noitalahti feints a jab promting Kosh to slip. Noitalahti then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kosh slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kosh has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Noitalahti finds it's way round the side to connect with Kosh's head.

A decent looking cross lands there for Noitalahti.
Noitalahti works the jab nicely.
Kosh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Oooooh!!! Noitalahti has knocked Kosh down with a huge combo! Noitalahti steps away and waves a wobbly Kosh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Terteryan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Terteryan misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
Terteryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Terteryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brown throws a head kick that half lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
