Morrison tries to bum rush Rubio with a series of wild strikes but Rubio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rubio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morrison paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rubio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

I think Bambang might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Suicidal Tendencies - Nobody Hears. Brock has chosen Guns and Roses - Reckless Life as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bambang shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Arto Bambang has been cut.
Bambang doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Brock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Brock slows down the pace here.
A shot in the inside from Brock.
Brock lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Brock scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Brock can't find room to land a body shot as Bambang controls the action.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Brock throws a punch but it's blocked by Bambang.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bambang tries to close the distance and clinch but Brock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Brock's corner calls for a 1-2. Brock obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bambang is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brock to keep the fight standing.
Brock has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brock creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bambang jumps guard but Brock stands there with Bambang around his waist. Bambang gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Brock dips to his left and cracks Bambang with an uppercut!
Bambang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brock as he jumps to the side.

Bambang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bambang showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brock trying to control but Bambang postures up.
Brock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bambang seems to be looking for submissions.

Bambang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brock doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bambang.

Brock is controlling Bambang's trapped leg to prevent Bambang from advancing to side control.

Bambang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brock is just riding it out for now. Bambang eventually gives up the hold.

Brock gets full guard.
Bambang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Brock bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bambang's guard.

Brock wants to control from the top but Bambang keeps moving.
Bambang wants to sweep here but Brock controlling him for the moment.

Bambang looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Brock has picked Bambang up and slammed him! Bambang can't keep hold of the triangle and Brock manages to pass to side control!

Eddie Brock is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bambang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bambang's back!

Well Brock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
