Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Hamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kess Oro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kess Oro!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamm shoots in looking for a takedown. Oro tries to sprawl out of it but Hamm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hamm ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hamm closes the distance and clinches up with Oro, looking for a takedown. Hamm pushes Oro against the cage but Oro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oro tries to bum rush Hamm with a series of wild strikes but Hamm uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oro misses with a double jab.
Oro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hamm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hamm somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edward Hamm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oro throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hamm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oro's waist but Oro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hamm off to one side.

and Hamm counters with a three punch combo that has Oro backing up. Oro nods at Hamm to acknowledge the strikes.
Kess Oro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oro tries a head kick but it misses.
A slow jab from Oro misses its intended target.
A swing and a miss from Oro.
A combination from Oro does no damage.
Hamm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oro pinned against the cage. Oro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oro leaves Hamm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hamm is breathing heavily.
Oro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

It looks like Edward Hamm has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight stays on the outside here - Oro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kess Oro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oro lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Oro throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hamm sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hamm finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Oro's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Hamm falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Guillet shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Guillet showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Guillet seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Guillet is pressing down on Herrera's thigh, looking to free his foot. Herrera is holding on for now.
Herrera is refusing to be controlled, as Guillet sits in half guard.

Kane slips a jab and a cross from Koira.
Kane walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Koira checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Koira feints with a jab and clips Kane right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Kane is sent crashing into the canvas and Koira leaps in for the kill! Kane tries to get to his feet but Koira is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Kane is in need of a savior and steps in!
