The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamikaze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mori misses with a wild body shot.
Kamikaze lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Takahiko Mori has been cut.
Kamikaze throws a head kick but Mori moves out of range.
Mori lands a nice looking body shot.
Kamikaze shoots in for a takedown but Mori shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mori dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kamikaze throws a sloppy head kick and Mori moves out of range easily.
Mori circles away from the clinch attempt

and Mori counters by clinching up.
Kamikaze's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Kamikaze keeps control of Mori as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mori misses with a wild body shot.
Kamikaze with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mori to score with a decent uppercut.
Mori misses with an uppercut. Kamikaze saw that one coming.
Kamikaze closes the distance and clinches up with Mori, looking for a takedown. Kamikaze pushes Mori against the cage but Mori circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mori Throws a clean left jab. Mori Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Kamikaze's chin! Kamikaze crumbles to the ground and Mori follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Mori!

Kenobi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alii has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kenobi has managed to get both his arms back between Alii's legs - danger averted.

Kenobi drops back looking for a leg! Alii is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alii manages to kick Kenobi off! Kenobi jumps back into Alii's guard.
