The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabashi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slade swivels and escapes.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kabashi can do anything to dispel that myth.

Slade drops back looking for a leg! Kabashi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kabashi manages to kick Slade off! Slade jumps back into Kabashi's guard.

Slade postures up and lands a big shot to Kabashi's brow.

Slade thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Slade drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Slade seems to have locked his on tight now - Kabashi screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Slade, as he picks up the win!
