The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adder clinches with his opponent.
Adder is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
A frustrated look appears on Omega's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Adder unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Omega has Adder pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Omega pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Adder tumbling to the mat - Omega dives into Adder's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Omega with a flurry of punches that miss.
Adder is trying to control the position but Omega postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Omega is in close to Adder's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Omega keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Adder's head.

Adder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Omega on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Adder had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Omega defends it easily.

Omega postures up and lands a big shot to Adder's brow.

It looks like Death Adder has been cut.
Omega distracts Adder with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Omega makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Omega connects with a couple of short punches.
Oh Adder is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Omega's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Adder has momentary wrist control but Omega slips an elbow through the middle.
Omega postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Adder covers up, he's hurt! Omega keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Omega and the ref steps in to end the fight! Omega can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

In his post fight interview, Jack Omega started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Paul is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Goodman is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Goodman flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Paul anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Goodman and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Paul slips an arm under Goodman chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Paul has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Paul is squeezing on Goodman like an anaconda would it's prey. Goodman fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Bush misses with a takedown attempt - McGruder sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McGruder scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Bush takes one to the side of the head.
Bush has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McGruder.
Bush with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McGruder to score with a decent uppercut.
Jon McGruder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGruder cracks a nice hook into Bush's ribs.

Balistia swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Braxton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Braxton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Braxton moves into range and clinches up with Balistia.
Braxton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Braxton throws a head punch that misses.

Braxton breaks from the clinch.
Braxton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Balistia.
