We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hong lands a brutal uppercut that launches Ice Cream off his feet! Ice Cream tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks checks a low kick from Rivers.
Rivers tries to move into range but Hendricks moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Rivers jabs Hendricks right on the nose. Hendricks blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Johnny Hendricks has been cut.
Rivers moves away from the strike by Hendricks.
Rivers will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Rivers does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
