I think Satinho might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Professor Green - Monster. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson wants to clinch up but Mamikonyan keeps it at a distance.

and Sumrall counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Nowak fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sumrall takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nowak thows a body shot but no joy.
Sumrall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sumrall wants it to stay on the feet.

It looks like Jan Nowak has been cut.

Nowak looks to land a left hand but Sumrall moved out of range nicely.

Nowak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Nowak closes the distance and clinches up with Sumrall, looking for a takedown. Nowak pushes Sumrall against the cage but Sumrall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nowak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nowak scores with a jab. Sumrall acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nowak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sumrall tries to avoid it but Nowak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sumrall to the ground. Sumrall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sumrall dodges the punch combination from Nowak.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nowak misses the body punch
and Sumrall counters with a head kick. That will keep Nowak thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Sumrall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jan Nowak will probably get the nod.
