The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts throws a half hearted mid kick.
Roberts tries to move into range but Chop moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Chop lands a jab to Roberts's midsection.

Roberts closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Chop is trying to get back to full guard.
Roberts seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chop does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Roberts shoots in looking for a takedown but Chop manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roberts's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chop is desperately trying to improve his position but Roberts has a good base and remains in mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

After the fight, Sujith Lawrence was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Pajaanen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dicni tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stewart sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dicni somewhat.

Dicni changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stewart tries to avoid it but Dicni manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stewart to the ground. Stewart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stewart feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dicni's calf.
Dicni shoots for a takedown but Stewart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dicni dives in and grabs Stewart 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stewart pushes down on Dicni's head and hops out.
Dicni is breathing heavily.
Stewart lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Djetic Dicni has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dicni misses with a takedown
and Stewart makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The fighters circle, before Stewart throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Dicni's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Stewart lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Bob Stewart opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
