Pain bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Pain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Eskola has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pain but great work by Eskola.
Eskola tries to stand but Pain is controlling his head.

Pain manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Eskola wants to pass to mount but Pain is defending the position.

Pain throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Eskola escapes and throws Pain's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Pain is looking to cinch up a triangle. Eskola throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pain's body to avoid the submission. Pain has instead reached around Eskola's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pain arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mr Pain!
Mr Pain gave a mention to Amsterdam in London 95% Laundry in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Parker McQuail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhys Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McQuail might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Glasgow Kiss. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

McQuail fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Evans has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McQuail moves away from the strike by Evans.

That was a close second round but I would say that Parker McQuail will probably get the nod.

Rastila fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Miller has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Miller drops his hands momentarily and Rastila needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Miller just on the top of the head. Miller drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Miller - he's done!
