The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Petrov is defended easily by Bortsuxxxxa.
Petrov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Petrov looks for a takedown but Bortsuxxxxa sprawls well.
Petrov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirill Petrov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Petrov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Petrov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Bortsuxxxxa pushes Petrov off and gets back to his feet.
Bortsuxxxxa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Petrov swivels and escapes.

Petrov closes the distance and clinches.
Petrov drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Petrov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bortsuxxxxa is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Petrov to the mat. Petrov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Petrov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bortsuxxxxa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Petrov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bortsuxxxxa rolls with it to try and escape but Petrov cranks on the arm and Bortsuxxxxa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Dexter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aguiar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Aguiar.
Aguiar takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Aguiar fails with the takedown.
Dexter connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dexter cracks Aguiar on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Aguiar falls backwards against the cage. Dexter follows up with more strikes that drop Aguiar to his knees. Dexter keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Aguiar! This one is all over!
