The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slash ducks under a wild hook from Todd.
Todd throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Slash on the side of the head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Todd enables Slash to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Todd manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Slash forces his way into half guard.
Todd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Todd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chikatilo walks straight into a right hand from Peitexeira - that's dropped him! Peitexeira jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Chikatilo from any more punishment! Chikatilo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
