Latote uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ferzeta.
Good exchange - Ferzeta coming out on top.
Latote throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ferzeta misses with a few strikes there.
Ferzeta shoots for a takedown but Latote saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ferzeta moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Latote goes down! Can Ferzeta finish him!?

Ferzeta stands up over Latote, holding on to his feet. Ferzeta throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Latote is out cold! Ferzeta lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Borzov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demarques Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borzov comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke Drank. Boris Borzov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Borzov parries the strikes from Johnson easily there. Johnson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Borzov to escape.

Paltiguera feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Balorca sprawling to the canvas! Balorca rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Paltiguera finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
