Latote uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ferzeta.

Latote throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Rico Ferzeta decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Borzov comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke Drank. Boris Borzov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Borzov parries the strikes from Johnson easily there. Johnson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Borzov to escape.

No joy there for Paltiguera, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Paltiguera feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Balorca sprawling to the canvas! Balorca rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Paltiguera finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Penn is looking to sinch up a triangle. Love throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Penn's body to avoid the submission. Penn has instead reached around Love's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Penn arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The Drunk throws his legs up looking for a submission but Prefect uses it to pass to side control.
Prefect wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Drunk keeps working.
The Drunk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prefect. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The Drunk tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Prefect presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Drunk wants to hold on but Prefect pushes him away.

Prefect is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. The Drunk can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Prefect wants to get back to his feet but The Drunk is holding on tight.
Prefect is working for a guillotine from mount but The Drunk frees his head quite easily.
The Drunk is trying desperately to improve position.
