The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco throws a sloppy head kick and Hogan moves out of range easily.
Hogan moves out of range of the body kick.

Blanco closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blanco lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blanco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Uche throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Tank is looking for a sweep. Uche is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Powers pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Vipen tries desperately to hold on but Powers is relentless in his assault! As Vipen receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Powers away and this one is in the books!
