Mcgregor shoots for a double leg takedown but Shafer sprawls well. He's pushed Mcgregor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shafer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mcgregor's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Shafer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mcgregor has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Shafer is looking to defend but Mcgregor has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Shafer! Mcgregor pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Shafer taps out and this one is all over!
