Carmichael paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Carmichael bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Carmichael misses with an uppercut. LePew saw that one coming.
LePew is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carmichael thuds his right hand into LePew's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar lands with an overhand left.

Hug ducks under a wild hook from Lesnar.

Hug connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hug ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lesnar moves away.
Hug lands a nice hook to Lesnar's body. Lesnar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Cross shoots in for a takedown but Basilan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Basilan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Basilan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Basilan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cross manages to avoid it.
Cross fails with a takedown attempt.
Cross checks a low kick from Basilan.

Basilan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Cross gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cross misses with a wild combination.

and Cross counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Basilan lands a jab to Cross's midsection.
Basilan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cross. That did some damage!

Basilan tries to score with a low kick but Cross moves his leg out of the way.
Basilan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cross.
Basilan throws a wild body kick that Cross sees coming a mile off.

Cross is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Basilan circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Cross to the canvas! Cross doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Basilan keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
