The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mainwaring's waist but Mainwaring gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ivanovski off to one side.
Ivanovski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mainwaring sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ivanovski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mainwaring as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henri Ivanovski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ivanovski dives in and grabs Mainwaring's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mainwaring pushes down on Ivanovski's head and hops out.
Ivanovski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mainwaring as he jumps to the side.
Mainwaring closes the distance and pushes Ivanovski back into the cage.
Ivanovski lands a takedown into guard.
Ivanovski stops Mainwaring from standing up.
Ivanovski trying to control the position from guard on top but Mainwaring is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ivanovski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ivanovski has hold of Mainwaring's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mainwaring seems comfortable defending it but Ivanovski has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mainwaring is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mainwaring is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ivanovski couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Yildiz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Yildiz fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Mamikonyan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Yildiz is trying to stand back up but Mamikonyan is controlling him
Mamikonyan is trying to work for a kimura but Yildiz is defending well.
Mamikonyan seems to be looking for submissions.
Mamikonyan is keen to just control but Yildiz is a slippery customer.
Yildiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mamikonyan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mamikonyan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Mamikonyan throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Yildiz has his hands clasped together but Mamikonyan breaks the hold and Yildiz is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mamikonyan!

A very excited looking Vartan Mamikonyan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Tiny tries to clinch but Gribov is having none of it.
Gribov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Gribov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tiny attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Tiny walks into a stiff left hand from Gribov.
Gribov keeps the fight on the outside.
Tiny tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Gribov counters with a left and a right that stings Tiny.
It looks like Boo Tiny has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tiny takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Gribov tries to throw a body punch but Tiny avoids it by throwing Gribov back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Tiny throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Tiny.
With the fighters up against the cage, Tiny throws an elbow but misses.
Gribov lands a right hand.
Tiny keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gribov's efforts to push away.

Tiny pushes off an throws an elbow but Gribov leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tiny tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gribov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tiny doesn't manage to clinch there - Gribov circles away.
Tiny is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tiny wants to clinch.
A combination from Gribov does no damage.
Gribov closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Gribov keeps the fight on the outside.
Tiny tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tiny is looking to clinch.
Gribov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Danga de danga de dang - Gribov scores with a four punch combination!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tiny lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gribov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gribov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boo Tiny is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
An inside leg kick from Gribov misses.
Gribov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gribov passes Tiny's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tiny is in trouble now - Gribov has advanced to mount!

Gribov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gribov working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Tiny turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gribov off and cradles Tiny's limp body as Gribov celebrates with his corner.

A very excited looking Sergey Gribov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
