Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demon Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demon Knight struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Knight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Horrible takedown by Knight or perhaps it was just good defense by Nunes which made him look bad.

Nunes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nunes wants it to stay on the feet.

Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Miller shoots in and bounces Pool off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pool has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Miller wants to control from the top but Pool keeps moving.
Miller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Miller has control of Pool's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pool regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Miller is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pool to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pool shrugs it off.

Reaper ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Good standup being displayed there by Reaper as he connects with a hook.
Reaper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reaper smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mir looks winded!
Reaper jabs at Mir's body.
Reaper catches Mir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Reaper lands a big uppercut and Mir crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mir looks OK. Reaper waves Mir back to his feet!
Reaper finds Mir's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Mir flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Reaper lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Mir will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bane Reaper!
A relieved looking Bane Reaper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
