The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lib moves into the clinch successfully.

Snarff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snarff keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Snarff looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Snarff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lib is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lib is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Snarff is defending well.
Jerry Snarff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Lib.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lib content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lib stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snarff swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oh but Snarff is tightening it up a little... Lib has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lib reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lib taps out! Nice BJJ there by Snarff!

Hecker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jizm is just riding it out for now. Hecker eventually gives up the hold.

Hecker swings around for an armbar but Jizm sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hecker's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chopper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chopper misses with a body kick.
Chopper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hart tries to keep at a distance but Chopper has taken the fight into the clinch.

Chopper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Chopper has Hart up against the cage in a clinch.

Chopper successfully pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chopper wants to stand but Hart is controlling the position.
Hart trying to control but Chopper is working from the bottom.
Chopper keeping full guard, as Hart tries to pass.
Chopper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hart is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Chopper can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hart controls the pace.

Hart passes Chopper's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Chopper wants to control but Hart is keeping busy.
Hart seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chopper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hart is looking for a kimura here.

Hart is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Chopper has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hart has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Chopper defend it? Hart steps over the head and cranks it - Chopper is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hart!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crouch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice uppercut lands for Springer. That snapped Crouch's head back.

It looks like Bryan Crouch has been cut.
Crouch misses with a wild combination.
Crouch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Springer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Springer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Springer throws a body kick that misses.
Springer lands a jab to the head.
Crouch scores with a three punch combo!
Crouch takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Springer avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crouch takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That kick from Springer tenderised Crouch's leg. Crouch is trying to keep his angry face on.
Crouch is breathing heavily.
Springer misses with a head kick.
Springer connects with a body shot that sends Crouch's belly button to the back.
Springer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Crouch's hands.
Springer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick by Springer - that's a beauty! Crouch is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Springer can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Geoff Springer!
