The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Craven moves into range and clinches up with Kinte.
Kinte wants to get back to striking at distance but Craven won't allow it.
Craven keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kinte's efforts to push away.
Kinte tries to break the clinch but Craven is controlling the position.

Craven has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kinte uses from the top position.
Kinte won't allow Craven to sweep him here.

Craven uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Kinte tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Craven's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Craven seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kinte for as long as he can get away with.

Destin Craven overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kinte wants to control but Craven is keeping busy.
Craven looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kinte has hold of Craven's hands but Craven slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Craven is nestled in close to Kinte, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Takala loads up on a big right hand but Savage slips the punch.
Savage lands with a nice body kick.
Savage throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Savage thows a body shot but no joy.
Takala throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Takala tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Savage was well out of range. Poor timing from Takala.
Savage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Takala circles away quickly and effectively.
Takala displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Savage.

Savage throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Takala's head.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Takala crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Savage - the referee stops the clock and Takala gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Savage. Takala manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Takala.
Takala is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Savage.
