Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shibata tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Shibata defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marfil.
Shibata takes a swing at Marfil's ribcage but misses.
Shibata throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Marfil.
Marfil swings for the body but Shibata moves out of range.
Shibata pulls out of a head kick attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Shibata.
Shibata has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marfil finds it's way round the side to connect with Shibata's head.
Shibata chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Marfil is looking to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Shibata.
Marfil tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Shibata misses with an uppercut.
Marfil lands with a big left! Shibata is wobbled badly! Marfil comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Shibata to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jienaro Marfil!
A very excited looking Jienaro Marfil made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Howard both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Wai Ting has been cut.
Howard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ting sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Howard somewhat.
Howard forces Ting back against the cage and clinches.
Howard pulls guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Howard tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Howard is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ting controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Ting wants to control from the top but Howard keeps moving.
Wai Ting has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ting.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ting with a poor takedown
and Howard counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Howard darts in and clinches Ting up against the cage.
Howard lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ting backwards.
Ting changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Howard fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wai Ting. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ting fails with the takedown
and Howard counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Howard looks to land a combination. Ting sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ting shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Howard as he jumps to the side.
Howard lands a big head kick that sends Ting tumbling to the mat! Howard takes a step backwards and waves Ting back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ting is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Howard lands a huge takedown. Ting is out but the ref is slow to react and Howard lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Ting lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dwight Howard!

Garcius misses with a head kick.
Garcius misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Garcius shoots for a takedown but Arcturus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Garcius rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Arcturus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Garcius is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arcturus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Raven Arcturus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaius Garcius.
Arcturus slips a jab and a cross from Garcius.
Garcius shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Arcturus as he jumps to the side.
Arcturus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Garcius to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Garcius postures up in Arcturus's guard and throws a big left but Arcturus blocks it.

Garcius makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Garcius won't allow Arcturus to get back to his feet.
Garcius throws a big elbow that misses.

Garcius postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Garcius won't allow Arcturus to sweep him here.
Garcius stands and throws Arcturus's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Arcturus is trying to get back to his feet.

Arcturus tries to lock up and control but Garcius gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
