The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simler throws a shot from downtown. Abukay moves away and avoids it.
Simler circles away from the clinch attempt.
Abukay wants to clinch
and Simler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Simler throws a right and a left that Abukay avoids nicely.

Abukay gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Simler to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Abukay manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Simler has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Abukay is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Simler has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Abukay has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Simler taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Abukay doesn't care though - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Milosevic at a distance.
Lee shoots in but Milosevic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clay throws some wild stikes that Crowe manages to avoid easily.
Clay misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Clay darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crowe wants to sweep here but Clay controlling him for the moment.
Clay arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Crowe's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
