Alves jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cole walks away with a smile on his face. Alves gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cole is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Alves rather than just go for the knockout.

Cole pushes Alves away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Alves gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Alves tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alves has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That was a close second round but I would say that Boozan Alves will probably get the nod.
