Benn keeps the fight on the outside.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Benn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Paradise tries for a takedown but Quimby sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Paradise drops his hands momentarily and Quimby takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Quimby lands a hook to the side of the head.
Quimby is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Paradise goes for a takedown in the clinch but Quimby prevents it.
Jeff Quimby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Coolio Paradise.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Elliott!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliott takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Elliott closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stein circles away.
Stein cracks Elliott with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

A jab from Stein finds it's way through Elliott's defenses.

Elliott shoots in looking for a takedown. Stein tries to sprawl out of it but Elliott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stein manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Elliott is trying desperately to land a takedown but Stein is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Elliott.

The fighters circle momentarily. Stein darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Elliott passes Stein's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Elliott working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Stein's thigh. Stein counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Elliott postures up in Stein's guard and throws a big left but Stein blocks it.

Stein keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Elliott is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stein has managed to free his arm - good work.
Elliott wants to free his trapped foot but Stein is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Stein keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stein is trying to push Elliott away but Elliott has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Stein lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

A nice right hand lands inside from Stein.
Elliott drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Stein is looking to break free of the clinch but Elliott has double underhooks.
Stein lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Stein content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Elliott has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Stein regains guard immediately.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Stein pulls Elliott in to control the position.
Elliott seems to have recovered his senses.
Elliott throws a big elbow that misses.
Elliott looking to sit in guard and control but Stein gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Stein avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stein wants to get up but he can't break Elliott's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Elliott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stein is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Borgen Stein dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Elliott has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Elliott there as he acknowledges the shot.
Elliott checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stein darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Stein is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Elliott shoots in and drives through. Stein sprawls well.
Elliott takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stein misses with a low kick as Elliott jumps back.

Elliott takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Elliott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stein as he avoids it easily.

Stein wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Elliott shoots for a double leg takedown but Stein sprawls well. He's pushed Elliott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stein drops Elliott with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Elliott! Stein dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
