Noah Todd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Todd lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lucas circles away quickly and effectively.

Lucas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Todd takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Lucas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lucas is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Todd is trying to escape and Lucas transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Todd is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lucas! Very nice indeed!

Sulphur loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Drake scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sulphur land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sulphur stands and salutes the crowd.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jasper Cox!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowser looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cox connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Cox drops Bowser with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bowser looks back up at him and smiles so Cox waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Kelo Bowser has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bowser changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cox tries to avoid it but Bowser manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cox to the ground. Cox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cox lands a big uppercut and Bowser crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bowser looks OK. Cox waves Bowser back to his feet!

Oh Bowser is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelo Bowser. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bowser is breathing heavily.
Cox fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bowser looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bowser seems to have got his legs back now.
BAM! Cox delivers a spinning backfist that drops Bowser like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
