Stenner closes the distance but Lenn moves to the side

and Lenn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lenn.

Lenn is working to tighten is grip on Stenner's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Stenner has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lenn is really squeezing tight and eventually Stenner passes out! Lenn breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Laranja is defended easily by Machida.

Laranja takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Machida circles away from the clinch attempt.
A clash of legs there as Machida blocks the low kick.
Laranja is looking to clinch.
Laranja shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Machida as he jumps to the side.

Laranja takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Machida connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Laranja shoots for a takedown but Machida saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Laranja walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Laranja. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Laranja's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Machida connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Laranja scrambles back to his feet.
Machida lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cena walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Cena limp body while Bob jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
