The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panther shoots in but Franck avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice cross by Franck.
Panther takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Franck connects with a right hand. Panther shakes it off.
Panther dives in and grabs Franck's left leg, looking for a takedown. Franck pushes down on Panther's head and hops out.
Panther really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Franck works Panther's body with a nice hook.
Panther avoids a punch combination nicely.
Franck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Panther manages to avoid it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joseph Watene will probably get the nod.

Roper has instead reached around Tessin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Roper arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

After the fight, Scott Roper was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
