Serafin shoots in looking for a takedown but Maake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Serafin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Maake drops Serafin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Serafin looks back up at him and smiles so Maake waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Maake closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Serafin! Maake dives in looking to finish! Serafin is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Phillips is looking to take a break and control but Villegas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Phillips connects with a nice short shot to Villegas's temple.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Phillips works his foot free and advances to mount.
Phillips can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Villegas is looking to escape.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Haze's choice of entrance music: King Of Amarillo by Issues. Johnny Boy had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Johnny Boy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

and Haze counters with a one-two to the body.

and Haze counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Boy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Haze doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Haze manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Haze is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Haze has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Haze is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boy pulls down on the head and he's put Haze to sleep! This one is all over!

A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dat Sik was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Sik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Suokas.
Oh Suokas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sik looks to land a right hand but Suokas moved out of range.
Suokas seems to have got his legs back now.
Suokas walks into a jab.
Sik thows a body shot but no joy.
Sik throws out a leg kick but Suokas moves out of range and Sik only half commits.
Suokas throws a nice looking combination but Sik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dat Sik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suokas avoids the body shot from Sik.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Danga de danga de dang - Suokas scores with a four punch combination!
Suokas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sik.

Sik throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Suokas stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Sik follows into mount!
Sik wants to control the pace but Suokas is squirming around nicely.

Sik sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Suokas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sik on the ground.
Suokas wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sik.
Suokas holds on to Sik as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Sik wants to control the pace but Suokas is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sik throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Suokas because Sik loaded up on that one.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pisa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bull.
Pisa throws a sloppy head kick and Bull moves out of range easily.
Bull connects with a body shot that sends Pisa's belly button to the back.
Bull scores with a shot to the body.
Bull connects with a jab.
Pisa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
