Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Lii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lii comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Legend of the Ocean kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lii lands with a straight right. Kang didn't see that one coming.

Kang gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lii drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kang slowing the pace effectively.
A nice right hand lands inside from Lii.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lii.
Lii fails to pull guard.
Lii looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lii can't get the takedown.
Wanderlei Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Lii.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kang - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Kang is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lii.

Kang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lii manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lii lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd cheers as Lii lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kang doesn't seem phased though.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lii is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Lii maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kang could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lii has cracked it and Kang is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lii!

Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

George clobbers Molesworth with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Molesworth. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Molesworth closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

George sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Molesworth's defenses. It connects perfectly with Molesworth's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
