The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beucher wants to clinch.
Beucher looks to score with a jab to the body but Garcilazo is just out of range.
Beucher tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Garcilazo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Beucher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beucher wants it to stay on the feet.
The crowd cheers as Garcilazo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Beucher doesn't seem phased though.

Steele tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Saukko cranks the arm and Steele screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Steele, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
