The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBlanc displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stiels.
Stiels tries to clinch

and LeBlanc counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stiels won't be happy with that.

LeBlanc tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no LeBlanc has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Stiels is not content to let LeBlanc control the position.
Stiels is pushing LeBlanc's head away, looking to escape. LeBlanc manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LeBlanc is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stiels is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stiels tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - LeBlanc cranks the arm and Stiels screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stiels, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ace Espinoza's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
