The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Alvares slams his shin into Erator's torso.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Junior Alvares.

McCullough tries to bum rush Payne with a series of wild strikes but Payne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McCullough misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

McCullough drops Payne with a beautiful combination! Payne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McCullough is looking for the KO!

It looks like Elliot Payne has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCullough pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Payne is still on wobbly legs! Can McCullough finish him?
Payne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McCullough paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McCullough finds Payne's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Payne flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. McCullough lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Payne will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack McCullough!
Our winner, Jack McCullough, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
