Nowak's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zebub connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nowak scrambles back to his feet.

Zebub lands a leg kick that knocks Nowak off balance momentarily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Zebub counters with an inside leg kick.
Nowak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zebub but Zebub pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nowak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zebub's waist but Zebub gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nowak off to one side.
Nowak throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zebub cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nowak has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zebub.
Nowak takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nowak is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zebub displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nowak.

Zebub wants to clinch up but Nowak keeps it at a distance.
Zebub throws a quick inside leg kick.
Nowak shoots in looking for a takedown. Zebub tries to sprawl out of it but Nowak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zebub manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nowak closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zebub circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nowak.
Zebub cracks Nowak with an open hand slap.

Zebub misses with a series of wild punches.

Zebub drops Nowak with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nowak looks back up at him and smiles so Zebub waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Nowak is rocked!

Jan Nowak's cut is getting worse.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nowak slips a straight right by Zebub.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zebub looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nowak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zebub as he jumps to the side.
Nowak gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Zebub gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Nowak is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baal Zebub!
