Jong Dong shoots for a takedown but Mir saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jong Dong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jong Dong wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Mir. No joy for Jong Dong on that attempt.
Mir works over Jong Dong's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Kim Jong Dong has been cut.
Jong Dong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mir shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jong Dong can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mir works his foot free and advances to mount.

Mir is working for a guillotine from mount but Jong Dong frees his head quite easily.
