Buffer throws a combination that misses
and Hunter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Buffer thinking.
Hunter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buffer.
Buffer misses with a series of wild punches.
Buffer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hunter sprawls well. Hunter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Buffer gets slowly back to his feet.
Buffer blocks a head kick by Hunter.
Hunter misses with a low kick.
Bruce Buffer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

He turns his back on Hunter, trying to create some distance but Hunter rushes him, striking wildly and Buffer goes down! The referee tackles Hunter into the cage to end the fight! Hunter is one violent man!

Zica tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Donald is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zica is just riding it out for now. Donald eventually gives up the hold.

Donald goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Zica rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Donald's guard! Nice work there by Zica!

Donald has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zica can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Donald manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zica manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Donald stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zica swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Donald drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zica manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Donald has Zica in his guard.

Donald looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Zica is defending well. Donald quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Zica has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Donald celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Benjamin Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Safo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benjamin Jr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Beheaded in Paris by Cradled To Grave. The crowd seem to be enjoying Safo's choice of entrance music: Up Your Speed by Sway DaSafo. Benjamin Jr has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Thomas Benjamin Jr had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?
