The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riordan avoids the head kick by Glyde.
Glyde slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Glyde misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Riordan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Glyde lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No joy there for Riordan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Glyde shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Glyde gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Glyde stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Glyde lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Glyde lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Riordan backwards.
Riordan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Glyde walks away with a smile on his face. Riordan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Glyde connects with a leg kick. Riordan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Glyde. Riordan shrugs it off though.
Riordan is breathing heavily.
Glyde avoids a punch combination nicely.
Glyde uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Riordan has time to react.

Glyde lands a big head kick that sends Riordan tumbling to the mat! Glyde takes a step backwards and waves Riordan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tommy Riordan has been cut.
Riordan drops his hands for a split second and Glyde immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Riordan face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Glyde follows up with a right hand that knocks Riordan into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Owen Glyde!
After the fight, Owen Glyde was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Harrison throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Robertson colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Harrison as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Robertson is left battered and dazed whilst Harrison and his camp cheer!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roene Dekker.
Well Christopher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
