The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prodigy drives through with a takedown into Smegma's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Pokong is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pokong is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Futadores couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Musasio has instead reached around Sifu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Musasio arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Look low, kick high! Van Dijk uses the oldest trick in the book to send Beaver tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Van Dijk is absolutely delighted - when Beaver wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Askren is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Toe has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Toe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Toe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Askren takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Toe lands some shots froms side control.
Askren pushes Toe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Toe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Toe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Toe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Askren with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Toe lands a big elbow - Askren is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Toe!
